Cloud MES is here NOW

Legacy MES can be cost prohibitive and can impede speed & flexibility of your business.

Can I really run MES in the cloud?

Yes, you can run MES in the cloud. All you need to get started is to have a web browser to connect to the cloud MES. Our network services and security services team are available to assist you in network and security assessments.

Is it secure to run MES in the cloud?

Cloud security at 42Q is inherent in every step we take. All 42Q customers benefit from a data center and network architecture built to satisfy the requirements of the most security-sensitive organizations.

What do I need to get started with MES in the cloud?

Implementation is very fast because you do not need any server hardware and software. You can get started with a desktop for setting up the manufacturing process and optionally bar code scanners and printers to support operator scanning & label printing.

Does MES require a lot of investment?

No, with cloud MES, you can get started small and scale as you need. Being in the cloud, you can start immediately with a minimal investment (typically within the budget of a plant P&L owner) and expand usage as needed. You do not need to buy server hardware or software to get started with MES.

Do I have to deploy MES for the entire factory?

No, you do not. Cloud MES can be deployed to solve problems with one line, one station or one area inside the factory. Since the MES runs in the cloud, you do not have to make significant investment to start solving real business problems that you face within parts of your factory. Our customer success team can help you get started and ensure that you gain business value by partnering with us.

What capabilities can I start with immediately?

Our cloud MES is comprehensive. It enables you to configure a manufacturing line easily and rapidly. While there are a lot of capabilities, you should be able to start with collecting product genealogy and traceability information in a line within hours. You also should be able to enforce quality control plans for product inspection and ensure that the product you release to your customer meets your minimum quality requirements.
